Grahill sounds like a great place to do an internship. I've been using their products for decades. Hopefully they can give you some really good experience since they have a broad product line. In some ways similar to where I put in 23 years.
Those are some really nice fireworks photos!
Finally I wish I could have taken a German for Business course. Then a course in German Technical language (if there even is such a course) would have been a super benefit when I worked for a Swiss-German company. Didm't take long to learn most of it -- after working there about 2 years.
If you like CAD wait until you can do some work with Solidworks.
