At the time (July 16, 2011) I was at a flea market in Germany, and this one stuck out amongst the other grey and black typewriters there. Since I had weight concerns, I only bought this one, and it was a steal at about 10 bucks. :)
Well done Vikram, keep it up! These were the Brother portables supplied by Brother for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. The Main Media Centre was a sea of them, you can imagine the sight!
Good for you, we have to make the world safe for typewriters again ... that is a great red color, did you paint the machine?
