I never typed on an AZWERTY keyboard, but I know some other typosphereans have. It would confuse the daylight out of me. You have quite an attractive typewriter. Looks like a minor cleaning and it will be like new. A blast of the right cleaner will probably take the smell away also. Then some typewriters have a distinctive smell that does make them quite uinque.

That keyboard would drive me crazy. But what a wonderful color. And 10 million Brother typewriters! That's impressive.

Your Brother typewriter has character, I like it. I bet the typing action is nice and springy like the Brother I own.
