Very nice. I have 2 and both are nice typewriters. I never had any documentation at all, although I do have some interchangeable type for the normal one (other is script). You are very lucky to get all of this.
The Classic-12 has the easiest platen in the world to remove also. That is because several platens were made for it including an all metal one for making mimeograph stencils, a smaller diameter one for more than 5 carbon copes and a few others.
Although I have several Hermes, the Classic 12 is a better typer than any of them.
They tried to put EVERYTHING into this model, and I think it came out quite well.
Try bending the ribbon vibrator slightly away from the type guide on which it's supposed to slide up and down by sticking a pin or the like between them. That might do the trick.
